Hey all you theatre loving Toxie Fans!

CHEER ON TOXIE ALUMS IN THE 2011 TONY AWARDS! 
THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 12 AT 8PM TELECAST LIVE IN TIMES SQUARE OR ONLY ON CBS!

Once again the good folks at the Broadway League will be simulcasting the TONY's in Times Square

and like last year, it is a two way feed – this year from the TONY’s new home at the Beacon Theatre

on the Upper West Side. Last year it was crazy fun and we hope if you are in the Times Square area

on Sunday night that you’ll stop by and join old and new friends to view the show together. 

Fingers crossed for a beautiful evening.

For those of you having your own Tony watching parties, the Red Carpet action
can be seen locally on NY1 from 6-7:30pm EDT, then on CBS starting at 8pm EDT.   

And the most exciting part of the whole evening???

Answer:  Rooting for our favorite designers from The Toxic Avenger!!!

 

Beowulf Boritt, our wild and crazy Tromaville set designer
was nominated this season for “Best Scenic Design of a Musical”
for THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS.

And Ken Posner who did the fantastic lighting on Toxie
was nominated this season for “Best Lighting Design of a Play”
for THE MERCHANT OF VENICE. 

TOXERIFFIC!!!  VERY EXCITING!!!
