THE TOXIC AVENGER FAN CLUB!

Wow, only two days in and my head is already completely overflowing with information! Okay, my freak out moment is over, phew....

I got into NYC this past Sunday and after all of my travel plans were delayed over and over, by NYC's lovely weather, I FINALLY got here! It feels so great to be back in the city! I surprisingly made it with only ONE bag being overweight. That's a miracle, y'all!

I brought along with me my kids (aka my weenie dogs, Dixie & Rosie) and they have definitely been in culture shock. The both almost jumped out of their skin when they heard a street sweeper and saw a horse for the first time. Even with all of street excitement, I think they are finally starting to settle in nicely. Rosie is actually walking around the entire block now instead of making me have to tug on her for a few feet before I have to carry her the rest of the way!

Monday, August 3rd, was my first rehearsal and thank heavens it was an easy day! Kelly, our stage manager, and I went through all of my blocking and I started in on my songs with our happily energetic music director, Doug. I also met Austin our prop manager (I have since named him deep throat because of his insanely DEEP voice) and Michael, my dresser, wardrobe master, wig master, and all around costume/makeup/hair guru! Everyone was very nice and very welcoming. There are still soooo many more people to meet and I think I might have to get "Hello My Name Is" tags for everyone.

The first time I stepped onto the TOXIC stage, I slowly walked around all of it many nooks and crannies. I learned some of the barrels names and how they pertain to my "track." Verrrrry interesting place, I must say! The stage and it's nether regions are cozy, but fit just right with this production.

After rehearsal I went down to Timberlake Studios to try on my costumes and meet our costume designer, David. Y'all, I am forewarning you that my booty is gonna be OUT & ABOUT in this show! I think I am the curviest Sarah that Tromavilla has ever seen and because of that my costumes just happen to excentuate my behind a tad more!! It's all very appropriate so don't fret. Thank heavens for my Paul Frank shorts!

At the end of the day, I went to my new home and gave the weenies another culture shock around the block. Lots of laughs I must say! I am sooooo super-duper excited about this new adventure I am about to explore and I hope that I make everyone proud of the Sarah I will become!

Look out Tromavilla, here I coooooooooooooooooome! (imagine a southern drawl, y'all, wink, wink)
