My Sophisticated Wife

My wife & I are pretty much polar opposites when it comes down to about EVERYTHING. Our daughter is away for the summer & I wanted to do something nice for my wife, so I suggested a play. I even suggested a musical and of course she was very surprised by my idea and thought that I would die a thousand deaths but this plan of mine was absolute proof that I adore her and would do anything for her.
When it came upon the day of our date I had to annouce the musical play we were going to see and I proudly exclaimed, "Toxic Avenger: The Musical". She was intrigued & excited. You see, TOXIC AVENGER the movie was shot in the neighboring town of PEEKSKILL so it's a little hometown favorite.
My friends, I scored major points with my wife for taking her to something so offbeat and original & I didn't have to suffer for one minute. It was an all out winner from beginning to end. We both loved it and would happily go again. The actors and actresses were amazing (huge kudos to the woman playing the Mayor), the songs hysterical (take that NEW JERSEY) and the production was tight. The best part was that I believe the actors were having as much fun as we were and it showed.


Do yourself a favor & go see, "THE TOXIC AVENGER: THE MUSICAL. You will not be disappointed & if you are, you're a DOUCHEBAG.
